Taking care of the people in our community is one of Reclaimed’s priorities. The harsh reality is there are many people struggling right here in Minooka/Channahon and the surrounding communities.

Food trucks provide 10,000 lbs. of food accessible to anyone in need. Reclaimed works in partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank to provide trucks in the spring through the fall. There is no proof of income or i.d. required for a person or family to come through the food line. Bring a basket, or better yet a cart or wagon, to carry the food.

Distribution starts at 5 pm and is first come first served. It usually wraps up at 6 pm, or as soon the food has been fully dispersed.

The trucks will be at The Village Christian Church at 8965 S. Bell Road in Minooka, Il. If you’re looking for an opportunity to serve, come on out to help at 4:30 pm. Kids can help too! No need to sign up, just come on out whenever you can! Volunteers set up the food lines, unpack the food from the truck, hand out food, and carry boxes.
