Get ready for the Rodeo Round-Up coming March 18, 2017, 6-9 pm. This fundraiser will involve a lot of whoopin’ and hollerin’ as we raise money to reclaim bad circumstances into something beautiful locally, regionally, and globally. Here are some of the causes we’ll be raising money for:
- Rescuing girls from human trafficking in Cambodia in partnership with Destiny Rescue.
- Supporting inner city moms in partnership with Ms. Pearl and Good News DayCare in Chicago, Il.
- Feeding the hungry in Minooka/Channahon and surrounding communities in partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank, and globally in partnership with Feed My Starving Children.
- Encouraging and equipping Joliet Junior College Students as they grow spiritually and become passionate servants of Jesus in partnership with Intervarsity.
- Saving orphans in Swaziland, Africa in partnership with Heart for Africa.
- Supporting churches in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Mexico to provide hope in their communities.
- Tim Tebow Foundation Night To Shine providing an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love for people with special needs.
- Giftmart providing Christmas gifts for families in low-income communities. Parents choose gifts for their children at a discounted rate, which also benefits the community because all money collected from the parents is reinvested back into the schools to help the students.
- Providing school supplies for kids in the Minooka/Channahon and surrounding communities in Illinois.
Dust off your boots, find your cowboy hats, and break out your country attire for this night of fun! The event will be at Chapin’s East in Minooka, 502 Twin Rail Drive. Cost is $20 per person and includes appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks. kids 13+ are welcome to attend with their parents.
